Bloodthirsty

Bloodthirsty
By Flynn Meaney
Poppy, 2010. 234 pgs. Young Adult

Finbar is tired of living in the shadow of his popular, athletic twin brother Luke. When he gets the chance to attend a different high school an idea strikes him. He can use his pasty white sun allergic skin to his advantage; he can pretend to be a vampire. Girls love vampires and he loves girls, so he’s hoping girls think fake vampires are just as hot.

Finbar is your typical teenage boy worrying and thinking about all things boy- fitting in, getting the girl, and what to do once you have the girl. Many funny things ensue in his journey of becoming a brooding vampire and his personal discovery of who he really is.
