Sarah Addison Allen is one of those authors whose books I will pick up simply because her name is on the cover. Her stories have a way of making ordinary places feel a little enchanted, and Paper Ghosts is filled with that same atmospheric quality. There is a sense of mystery woven throughout the story, along with complicated characters, family secrets, and the feeling that the past is never quite as far away as we think it is. If you enjoy atmospheric mysteries, layered family stories, and a touch of the unexpected, Paper Ghosts may be exactly the kind of book that pulls you in.
