Jonathan Van Ness is a delightful ray of sunshine, love, and acceptance; anyone who's followed his work especially on the Netflix series Queer Eye knows this. And listening to him describe his often tumultuous (understatement) life path to the person he is today only endears him to me all the more. With his trademark charming humor and sass, he puts you directly into his shoes and you'll laugh and cry with and for him. This memoir is a great reminder that we all have our struggles, and more often than not, happiness and self-acceptance is a hard won struggle - but attainable all the same.
