Millions

MILLIONS: Frank Cottrel Boyce: Harper Trophy: Young Adult: 272 pgs.

This is a fun story about a young English boy whose mother has passed away. He is obsessed with the Catholic saints and spends most of his free time trying to "be excellent". One night he finds a large bag of money and thinking it is an answer to his prayers he takes it home. He and his brother hide the money from their father and then proceed to spend it as quickly as possible. Hilarity ensues as they find that it's not as much of a gift as they once thought.

This is a very charming story that I thoroughly enjoyed, light-hearted and clean.
