I remember pulling books from Tamora Pierce off the shelves
during middle school and her stories are still exciting to read, even so many
years later. Tempests and Slaughter is
a book that stands well on its own and is in good company with her other series.
I am very much looking forward to rereading this until the next book comes out.
Packed with action and surprises, I would recommend
this book for any teen or adult reader craving fantasy and fun.
