Dragon Bones

Dragon Bones
by Patricia Briggs
Ace Books, 2002, 295 pgs. Fantasy

Ward has recently inherited his family’s estate when his father dies on a hunting trip. As Ward is adjusting to his new position and debates whether or not to drop the fa├žade of being the castle idiot the King sends soldiers to take Ward to an asylum. Ward goes on a quest with key members of his family’s household to go about reclaiming his home.

I love Patricia Briggs, I loved listening to this book the reader beautifully portrayed Ward’s deep voice. I really enjoyed Ward’s growth and his awareness of the people around him.
