Johnny is a poor kid who repairs shoes for his family business. When Princess Victoriana requests his services, not only in fixing her shoes, but also in looking for her brother, who has been turned into a frog, Johnny is skeptical at first, but longing for adventures (as well as the lure of wealth, since if he succeeds, the princess will marry him), he agrees to do it. He sets out on his quest, aided by his best friend Meg, and finds that finding a frog in Florida can be a lot harder than he expected.
This was a fun modern fairy tale. It wasn't particularly deep, but it's a great quick read, and a clean one to boot.
