Deciding they can accumulate more miles for a second honeymoon, the couple plans to visit mostly countries in the Southern hemisphere for three months, concentrating on places where they would love to sample the local, authentic cuisine. Barring a few last minute rearrangements with an airline representative, Cheryl and Bill set out on their culinary adventure, experiencing lots of great-sounding food, history, and a few rogue animals along the way. I think I would have enjoyed this more if I was a foodie and knew what a lot of the food items they discuss are. The history they write about and the travel tips they provide are worth knowing, but this is best read by those who truly love and appreciate new food.
