It’s mostly clear glass, with the detail of the piece found in patterns rather than in color. While I think the main characters in this story would say the piece lacked color, vibrancy, and depth (they really liked rich colors), I appreciate the effect that the patterns in the different panes of glass have. It’s something I probably wouldn’t have thought about without reading this novel.<br /><br />Also, since I listened to the audio version, I wanted to comment on the narrator.
