I enjoyed hearing the story from so many different perspectives including President Wilson, the commander of the U-boat that shot at the Lusitania, and the secret British intelligence-gathering "Room 40," but especially the first person accounts from the passengers as they traveled on the ship. The ticking time bomb of knowing the sinking was coming and having events slowly unfold in that direction was irresistible. I stayed up late, walked the dog, drove around the block so I could keep listening to this excellent audiobook narrated by Scott Brick.
